Founded in 1920 in Great Britain, the Women’s International Zionist Organization is a global movement with federations in 38 countries, united to strengthen Israeli society.

Next to the government, WIZO is Israel’s largest provider of social welfare and educational services—operating 800+ programs that protect children, empower women, support families, and care for the elderly. Every day, WIZO changes tens of thousands of lives.

WIZO USA and WIZO California, established in 1985, power this mission by funding and championing vital programs across Israel. Together, we create safety, opportunity, and hope that lasts for generations.
